Stop in to the library during these dates to place your bids! We’re open M-TH 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., F & S 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

The Friends are introducing a new silent auction of nice donated books and other items. Here is how the auctions work:

-The auction items are displayed on the table across from the Circulation desk in the library.

-Each auction will last for two weeks; auctions will begin on a Monday, and will end at 4:45 p.m. on the second Sunday following the start of the auction (from June until September, auctions will end on Saturdays because the library will be closed on Sundays at that time).

-Winning bidders will be contacted on the Monday following the end of the auction. Bidders will have one week to come to the library to pay for and pick up the item.

-Most items will start with an opening bid of $1 and each subsequent bid will increase by $0.50. Some items will have a higher starting bid; please check the item’s bid slip.

-There will be new items added weekly.

-Come to the library (at 16480 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI) to place your bid; we look forward to seeing you!

The Friends of Macomb County Library are pleased to introduce our new blog. We will use it to give updates on our fundraisers and other events. Please check out our silent auctions of books and other nice materials that have been donated. All proceeds from the sales will be used to benefit the library and its programs. Past projects we have funded have been summer reading programs and new landscaping in front of the library to make it look nice.
